AFP’s Arman Soldin killed in Ukraine

AFP journalist Arman Soldin was killed on Tuesday by rocket fire in eastern Ukraine. ‘‘The whole agency is devastated by the loss of Arman’’ AFP chairman Fabrice Fries said.


‘‘His death is a terrible reminder of the risks and dangers faced by journalists every day covering the conflict in Ukraine’’, Fries added.

The brodhub.eu website is the work of the BROD project, which brings together researchers and journalists active in fact-checking in Bulgaria and Romania. BROD, the Bulgarian-Romanian Observatory of Digital Media, is one of the hubs of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO).
